Electric windows and power mirrors not working but fuses ok
Neither the Electric windows or power mirrors work. I've checked the fuses in the engine compartment and in the driver side foot well but they are all ok.
A bit stumped. What to try? |

What year is your car? Phase 1 or Phase 2?

Could it be that the driver's door window control unit is faulty? Can you lock unlock the car when you press the lock door switch on the windows control switch? But then again, I would be surprised if EVERYTHING has stopped working on the switch.

i had the same problem but that was on my v40 2003. on the drivers door pillar about half way down the door, pull the rubber cover back, that should reveal wiring for the mirrors etc.just push the casing inwards to make sure its connecting to the plug in....hope that makes sense.sorry i cant find pictures for that at the moment...will take a picture in the morning if need be

This is a common issue on a lot of Vauxhalls. The cure is to remove the switch and disconnect the small circuit board that the buttons press onto. A quick blast with some contact cleaner or a quick swipe with a lint free cloth sorts it. Not sure how the Volvo switches work, but if you've no luck with fuses, plugs or wiring, this could potentially be the culprit.
