V70 manual gearbox oil. Which one?
What transmission oil can I use in my v70 manual gearbox. I have drained it but not sure what grade to put in. I’m not bothered about using Volvo products, just need a good cheaper replacement. Thanks.

Fuchs, Gulf, Motul make great gear oils, but stick to a main brsnd and you wont go wrong.
void Comma, I had to temporarily use some of their gear oil and the shifting was awful, almost like there was no oil. Currently using Gulf Syngear FE 75w80 in both my V70 and Wifes Octavia, it is the best I've used to date, I previously used Fuchs/Motul which are very good oils. |
