Question Electric door mirrors not working - fuse location?

Hi all,

Quick (hopefully!) one for you - my controls for my electric door mirrors have stopped working. There's no green light in the L or R buttons now either. My first port of call would have been to check the fuse, but on reading the Fuses section of the manual I can't see any mention of a fuse for the door mirrors!

Anyone know a) where the fuse is and b) if it could be anything else?

Thanks!

You could try F35 LHS and F36 RHS mirror and lock and F27 L&R door modules in the fuse box at the driver door end of the dash. These also protect the respective door locks so if the locks still work then the problem may be the door control module itself.

Thanks Brendan - I pulled all of them to check and they were fine. The controls are now working again, so all I can think of is that one was potentially not seated properly.

Arise, Sir Thread!

v70 2005

I just had the same problem - all the door bits (windows, heater etc.) worked but the mirrors didn't (on both sides).

On mine, there was no fuse in 35/36

So I re-seated 4 & 5 (see http://www.volvohowto.com/volvo-v70x...t-and-amperage)

and voila!
Fixed.

I took out f35 and f36. They were not blown, I put them back in and it works perfectly. Thanks

You will probably get an answer if you post your question in the S60 '10> / V60 '11> / XC60 '08>'17 General ie the XC60 section for the year of your car
