Unhappy How to know if my Tyres are M+S type?

Hi all
I got a Volvo XC60 2.4D AWD, and I need to know if my tyres are M+S type.
In the documentation of my car, it says I have tyres "Segin 7,5 x 17" mit Bereifung 235/65 R17"...

Any advice will be appreciatted!

Thanks in advance

Javier

Look for a snowflake or mountain symbol for winter tyres, and the letters M&S, M/S, M+S or MS for mud and snow.

It should show on the side wall of the tyre.

Hi,

M+S will show if a tyre tread is optimised for loose surfaces like mud and snow (some say this should be sand). The snowflake symbol will only be present if the tyre compound is specifically designed to work at temperatures below 7degC. The tread will normally be optimised for removing snow from the tread too. Worth understanding that an M+S tread may not help on very cold / frost / ice specifically.
