Configurator Changes?
Just been playing with the configuarator and it looks as though there have been some changes?
T5 240PS (Powershift) has been added. D3 Drive now only seems to be available in lowest specs ie ES and SE, not the SE LUX and R-Design? Don't know if it's just a glitch or new model differentiation? |

I would suspect that the configurator is faulty (no real suprise as I had big problems when they moved to the 2011 version)
According to the configurator you can no longer order a D5 AWD in SE LUX or R-design which surley cant be correct. If its correct, Volvo seem to have dropped R-Design alltogther and the options that are available with other models dont make a great deal of sense either. The new options from the S60 (new satnav, multimedia, pedestrain detection are now listed but only with certain models) do however now show

Your right - where is the r-design gone?
Also there is a T5 and a T6!

The T5 is the new 4 cyl 240 bhp engine and the T6 is also the new version with 305 bhp (or 304 bhp - can't remember).

The T5 must be a fair size to produce that BHP with only 4 cylinders. Will be interesting see spec in due course.

Its a 2 litre engine (1998cc I believe). I would think its turbocharged to gain that kind of power. Been unable to find more detailed info....the search continues!

Ah, things are becoming clearer now. I recall there was a forum member from Cyprus that had ordered a 2.0T engine. Assume this must be the T5 in UK terms. Can't remember now if it was FWD or AWD?

Quote:
T6 304 bhp 3.2 243 bhp T5 240 bhp 2.0T 203 bhp T4 180 bhp T3 150 bhp Only some of these are fitted to the XC60 but some markets have them all in the new S/V60. Here in Germany, the XC60 (apart from the usual D3, D3 AWD and D5 AWD diesels) also see 2.0T, T5, 3.2 and T6 engines. Only the 3.2 and T6 are AWD and the 2.0T comes fitted with the Powershift gearbox as standard.
