Approximately 480 miles. I did not bed them in, I have only been VERY gentle with depressing the pedal.

I cannot tell you exact figures. Maybe after apr. 200-250 miles. I have been very gentle with them. In fact in all this period I remember breaking hard only ONCE (somebody jumped in front of the car).

Looked at my ABS Service Required light as usual and decided I need to get some reluctor ring things as it is driving me mad. Then a parking sensor service required light came on - but that goes off and on frequently.
I drove up the A30 to McDonalds quickly, got out of the car and the windscreen seal had lifted on the passenger side...Halfords trip, just for a change, spent £5 on some sealant and was holding down in torrential rain for 25 minutes...then, the sun came out. Went for a quick drive, stopped at the Co-op in St Ives and reversed into a post - I think I know which sensor is playing up. Sadly, the bit of the bumper I just had painted is even more damaged than it was before the painting. I have given up on painting my car unless I can do it myself. Jumped in the Rav4 and went for a spirited drive to check if the RGR cleaning worked...died a death on the bypass. Left it there. |

V70 in for MOT today, passed, no advisories except for the usual one of "plastic under tray and outer sill covers fitted obscuring some underside components".
Result. Now I can treat the car to wheel refurbishment and a couple of other minor jobs.

It's not me - it's Volvo...and Toyota....
That said, spent £6K on an Audi A3 1.6 petrol getting it right. What you should have said is, "I will buy a car off you any day." I buy them broken and throw £££££s at them, get bored and buy another shed |
