Depend what you want to do but OE in my '02 V40 the speakers are all Phillips.I also have the sub in the boot. All i have done if put 100W in the front doors and its pretty bloody good. No chance that it will blow the windows out.

And doors are 5.25? sound about right.

Just pop off the covers, and measure them! The tweets in the dash are tiny component tweets, and mounted on a big plastic mounting plate, so you could swap those for anything you like. Door speakers would need to be size matched though -- 16cm is the sweet spot for speakers IMO.

Boot pillar speakers are only there for ambience anyway, you sit in the front, those 4 and the sub are the important ones

I took mine down the local ice shop and they sorted me out some . Fitted like a glove, i haven't touched the rear ones as they look like pigs to remove.some 6x9's under the covers would be nice
