Amplifier repair - Volvo Diagnostic

Hi all - I "think" I have a faulty amp but I'm keen not to throw money at it if it's not actually faulty and the issue lies elsewhere!

I have contacted Volvo Diagnostic through phone, text, web, eBay and email and not yet heard anything (have been trying for over two weeks)

I'm not sure if they're away or too busy - but does anyone have any experience with them - or anyone else they could recommend?

I had cause to use Lucus at volvo diagnostics for a DEM issue I had several years back. Don't remember him being difficult to contact. Do remember him being helpful and fixing my issue...still working today. Think there's a company in Ipswich? ?? Or somewhere near by that repairs volvo audio.....on P2 at least.. try a search on that forum section if lucas continues to be elusive.

Thanks Bob. Actually managed to get in contact with him last night and he offered me some good advice and pricing I asked for too.

Hope to resolve my issue with replacement speakers but if that doesn’t sort it I’ll be back in touch with him to get my amp repaired!

Hi - I contacted him via here in the end, but I don't think he's an active member anymore sadly.

I would double check though that it's DEFO NOT the speakers - as this is a lot more common that people think!

I've done quite a few posts on it...

Hi Oak...thank you for your replay..i wired up another amp which worked for a bout 20 seconds after turning on and the speakers were fine.....cheers.
