Default V70 D5 Coding Injectors

Hi all,

I need to know a suitable diagnostics tool that will code injectors into a D5244T4. I know the obvious one would be VIDA which I don’t have and only one of my contacts have which aren’t available right now. I have tried Autel which doesn’t show the option to show the function and my friend has tried his Snap-On tool which also doesn’t show the function. Is this a VIDA only function or is there another tool out there that will do it?

All help appreciated

The Wurth option looks very expensive. A VIDA/DiCE clone is very cheap even with buying an old second hand laptop upon which to run it. And why avoid the bespoke Volvo system which is designed for your car?:

Not sure what your circumstances are for coding the injectors but recently had the injectors replaced on mine and initially it was lumpy on idle especially when warm. The garage that fitted them tried 3 different diagnostics including Snap-on but none of them gave the option to code. After approx 700 miles the idle became smooth again.

It is expensive, that's why it's worth every penny.

But you could also use (theoretically speaking between the lines) the ds150e delphi interface with Würth software which is very cheap.

I'll repeat: And why avoid the bespoke Volvo system which is designed for your car? I doubt that the Wurth does a better job and it is very unlikely to be cheaper than the VIDA/DiCE clone.

I have Vida, VCDS, Wurth, DS150E + AutoCom, F-COM, ODIS-S, ODIS-E, Ford IDS, Lexia 3, Peugeot Planet 2000 and a few generic ones I can't even remember their names. I've used all of them and I can tell you that Wurth does the same job as Vida does, adaptations, turning things on-off etc. The only thing you can't do with it is to flash a new ECU and Sensus software like you can with a licenced Vida which I have.
