Oil filter cannister wrench 86/87/88 mm?
Just jacked the S40 1.6l petrol auto x reg (2000 ) up for an oil change and discovered I need a special wrench to remove the canister holding the filter. I have tried with a rubber filter wrench and it is not budging.
Any suggestions or do I need to order the special 86mm tool from PFVS? Thanks OP Oops - if you search using 'cannister' you will find some other threads dealing with this issue - seems it depends how tight the previous person did it up whether you can get away without the tool - I have lost skin sweat and blood and now invested in a 87 mm tool from flea bay. Bit frustrated as have to wait for delivery before finishing the job. Last edited by oliverpervasive; Jun 24th, 2016 at 15:30. Reason: up date = use the search before asking/posting |
