Default Oil filter cannister wrench 86/87/88 mm?

Just jacked the S40 1.6l petrol auto x reg (2000 ) up for an oil change and discovered I need a special wrench to remove the canister holding the filter. I have tried with a rubber filter wrench and it is not budging.
Any suggestions or do I need to order the special 86mm tool from PFVS?

Thanks

OP

Oops - if you search using 'cannister' you will find some other threads dealing with this issue - seems it depends how tight the previous person did it up whether you can get away without the tool - I have lost skin sweat and blood and now invested in a 87 mm tool from flea bay. Bit frustrated as have to wait for delivery before finishing the job.

Dude, with your eyeball pressed against the bottom of the canister
turn your rubber filter wrench on an angle to the LEFT no problem
Heat up the engine first maybe
