"92 245 lowered advice and pics required
Needing help people,
Not long picked up the car I have been looking for for a long time, an immaculate factory 245 se in outstanding condition throughout. Last week I had it lowered 60mm with new GAZ dampers and springs from classic swede. It is currently sitting on factory steels wearing 185/90/14 Avon radials. Here's my dilemma, not sure wether to keep it on 14"s but with low profiles to reduce the flexing and improve the ride and handling or change to either 15 or 16" rims. If any of you have done any of these options I would be super grateful if you could share some pictures and more importantly your view on how your car drives with the changes. I want to make the right decision and get this car looking and driving as well as it deserves. |

Mines on 16" Galaxies with 205/50/16 tyres I think. In this photo I was running 40mm springs but I'm not on coilovers.
Rides fine I think but then I'm used to a firm ride from all my cars. |

That looks mint! Mine is also white so good to see the gunmetal finish as I'm a grey/black rim fan. I've posted a few threads looking for a set of galaxies or possibly would consider virgos. Thanks again man! |

Here's another question for you...do you have any issues with either of the rear wheels rubbing with the 16"s and being lowered, driving solo or carrying any weight at all? Have you fitted an adjustable panhard rod? Or is the car standard as far as that goes? |
