But your Volvo is wider, watch your doors.

Mitsubishi L200, It measures up at 5,115mm in length, 1,750mm in width and it has a 3,000mm wheelbase (the distance between the front and the rear wheels).

5285mm actually in length. as for the width, whilst the L200 is narrower in the body, the mirrors are huge, so there's not much in it...<squeezes in>

Also with a Volvo the expectation is that it will be parked correctly, whilst pick-ups..... or am i reinforcing stereotypes :-)

Depends whether you're addressing the urban or rural stereotype...

I'm firmly in the rural camp.

Default Little treat for Huey

Collected Huey a month ago today, so thought it was time for a little treat.

Very happy thanks Matt. It was one of those things I was going to do to my previous XC60 but never got round to it. Over the years I have read all the reviews of others who have been 'optimised', some good and others it's so so or not really worth it for the gains so had a open mind as to what to expect. Well as soon as I drove the car you could immediately tell it was a lot more responsive. Huey's got frisky all of a sudden.

It's an odd perception about the width, like you I thought my V90 seemed so much wider than any other Volvo I've owned.

However, I have a fairly narrow driveway and couldn't wash my generation 1 XC90 down both sides as there just wasn't room. I can get to both sides of the V90 without too much problem, much the same as the S80's I previously owned.
