Well, put the XC70 in to an LPG specialist today for a service, and to look at the issues with the car.
A few hours later and all sorted; Pipe between regulator and filter replaced, as split, wrong diameter, and not lpg rated. New filter, partially blocked. Other filter (did tell me but cant remember), fitted, as missing apparently bypassed ! All other pipework replaced, as not lpg rated. Sender etc on underside, treated with waxoil to stop corrosion etc. Installation tidied up as "not how I,d fit it" !! Car runs much better now, seems to change over quicker. Defo had an issue with a gas leak, hopefully more miles to the tank. Not very impressed with the original install !!!

Glad you have got it sorted but a shame the wrong pipes had been used. They do need replacing every ten years so at least they will be good for a while.
Does make you question why the filter was bypassed |
