Default Eolys tank issues

Good morning

My name is Kostas I am from Greece but I live in BCN Spain

2 days ago i have boat a used Volvo C30 (2010 1.6 110Hp) with 124k km

I have driven the car from Madrid to BCN (650km) with 0 Issues yesterday when I have started the car the check Engine indicator was on

I have removed the negative pole from the battery in order to reset the CPU with no luck

In the afternoon I have taken te car to my usual work shop that he plugged in Az Bosch diagnostic tool

He has discovered a DpF issue with no further specifications

He has erased the error and I have driven home

When I have arrived home I switched of the engine and then I have turned on and I got the same failure

After investigating I Have found out that the 119 code was active on the dash

After further investigation I have found out that this code is related with the Eolys liquid top up

I have bought a fill up kit and I have added about 300 ml on the tank

It is obvious the issue is not the toppling up of the DPF tank on the top of that I have found an older leak where the liquid is fed to the system (brown color on the white sensor)

Can you please let me know how to proceed further

I do not want to spend approx 400 euros on a new DPF tank with out being sure

Thank you for your support

No expert on C30 diesel, but i believe you need vida software to tell the system that it's been refilled.

The DPF is supposed to be replaced at 120,000km along with topping up of the EOLYS tank. Do you know if yours has been? Fluid may or may not be the issue but a scan with VIDA will help to diagnose.

Hi.

Now I have problems with my DPF. It is blocked, and so my car has gone intolimp mode

I have ordered DPF sensors and hoses

Vilvo has advised me that I should probably change the whole DPF, because (they say) cDPF didn't regenerate for some time, and blocked itself.

I believe them, but I like 2 do things myself. So I checked everything with VIDA in the car. It works perfect, I can play with every single parameter of my car, but the only thing that does not work is the "force regeneration" of my DPF.

When I go to DIAGNOSTICS > ECM > ADVANCED and try regenerating, my VIDA says either OPERATION FAILED.
Same goes when I try some calibration with the EGR valve. (also in DIAGNOStICS > ECM > ADVANCED)

My question is, has anyone had this problem ?
Is it possible that my DPF is so full of **** that it blocks everything ?
Can it be some electrical/cable problem ?
Any other ideas ?

Thanks a lot for your help

you need to fill the tank to at least half. then you shouldn't have any light issues. had similar problem with Peugeot 407.
