Why so many in such a short time? I did ask this before, but these updates are only for the Sat Nav System???????

Don't know why but Volvo have been producing map updates on an (almost) monthly basis. Perhaps Volvo is into the Japanese idea of kaizen - continuous improvement.

Yes, these updates are map updates only for the sat nav system.

Odd that mines still stuck on 1206? Perhaps related to my woes of it thinking the car is in the North Sea?

With these map updates, can you do a full update covering the whole of Europe, just to get everything up to date, but then say the next couple of updates just do the area that covers the UK. I guess you can still use the now older full euro area if needed, just that it wont be the latest, unlike the UK which you have got the very latest on. Or, if you pop on JUST the latest UK, does it then delete the whole of Europe.

does that make sense ?

You still have the rest of europe maps if you update UK.

Hi, there is no need to do a full europe update if you never drive outside the UK, just do the North West Europe updates as they are released (usually around monthly).

Your original full europe mapping will remain on the system until you ever decide to update it, but your home UK mapping will be overlaid and updated each time.

You can of course tick the OTA update box in sensus which uses some of your data, but to be honest it's a 30 minute job with a USB stick and transfers to the car during your next journey.
