  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Could it be that there are also additional sensors to be fitted to assist with detection?

Workshop time at a dealers is notoriously expensive so if they need to take the car apart to add sensors then this can easily rack up £500 of the cost.

I wouldn't say that MOST dealer service departments are like that, but drivers stories indicate that some are most definitely better than others.

As servicing is how dealers make the majority of their profit you would think they would strive to give a good customer experience.

Agreed , one or two tar the brush for all the rest it seems . Volvo's franchise standards are very strict . If you are not happy with anything tell them about it . It is easy these days with e-mails . These days the People who run the operation at the top are not hidden unknown individuals in a windowless building , they are real people who are not bad to deal with .

That's a dreadfull generalisation. Much as saying most Volvo dealers are excellent because our local one is. One of the reasons I have a Volvo is because my local dealer, both Sales and Service have treated me well for the past 20 years.
