Default Dashcam for 2008 XC90

Hello,

I've read a number of posts around fitting 3rd party dashcams. I've just bought one from AliExpress, and my questions are really just around the electrics. The kit has three wires - Red (ACC), Yellow (B+) and Ground. I'm trying to connect these directly into the fuse area to the right of the steering wheel, by the drivers door.

I have identified two 10A slots, but I'm not sure which ones are 'switched' and which ones are 'always on'. Can anyone help me on this please?

Also, if this gadget is always on, is that going to have any real impact on the battery...or is it very minimal?

Thank-you in advance.

It will have minimal impact on your huge battery as long as you drive the car regularly .

Ground and power are on the UEM light switch module above the rear view mirror
