revisited the rear adjusters today, the drivers side dragging with handbrake off while the passenger side was free. (convinced this is symptomatic of issue in diagram previous page.. whether that's a fault of my equaliser, who knows)

anyway. adjusted the passenger side out a couple of notches at the hub, and now seems to be equal with drivers side still wound right in.

readjusted at front end, will check on it over time and adjust if necessary. I think next time I've got the centre console out I might just replace that first short bit of cable because then it's all brand new, literally smother the pivot in grease.
