Amazon: Which items were original zinc plated in the engine bay?

Hi all,
Having got my home zinc plating up and running (https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=314825) I have been trying to find out which items under the bonnet were original zinc plated on my 1966 131 (mainly thru Google images and various parts suppliers).

Could anyone confirm which items on this list were originally zinc plated?

1) Rocker cover - Brookhouse sell zinc plated ones
2) Bonnet Catch - possible yellow chromate?
3) All the hose clamps - probably
4) Radiator Cap - Probably
5) Thermostat housing-??
6) Indicator Relay cover?
7) Brake pipe clamps holding pipes to body?
8) Washer pump cover?
9) Washer bottle mounting bracket?
10) Clips which hold the wiring harness connectors in-place,
11) Throttle linkages - look as though they were zinc plated
12) Bolts that hole the radiator in place- Probably

I don't think there was any yellow chromate under the bonnet. "Blue" or silver zinc was used. If you think the original part was zinc plated it probably was. Thermostat housing is aluminium which often appears to have a clear finish.
Voltage regulator cover was. Most small pipe retainer clips too. Most original Volvo bolts are zinc plated. Whatever you plate will look better than being rusty.

Here is a before and after for some of the components:
1) Radiator bolts, nuts and washers
2) Multi-plug connector bracket
3) Various brake pipe clamps

The battery retainer bits you've done are different to the Volvo ones. The original bar is a straight fluted one and the rods are straight too with a short right angled end with a circular disc on it to fit the body tabs. No worries yours will do the job fine.
Perhaps you'd consider documenting all of this as a PDF? One that anyone interested could download?

Having looked at some picture of Amazon engine bays I can see what you mean about the battery bracket. It should be the same shape as the one on my 1800S (photo before plating), but probably a bit smaller in length.

Interestingly the 131 had clearly had a significant battery acid leak in the past. I wonder if that was when the clamp was changed.
