Just a public 'thank-you' to Brian for allowing me to drive his Volvo 740 back home so that I can take over its custody. In over 40 years of car ownership I have only twice scrapped one of my cars - a 240 estate with terminal rust underneath and my last 740 estate which suffered a mysterious fire due fuel leak whilst parked - could have burnt the garage down!
Just today it reached the magic 200k recorded miles, and will be using it to my sons over Easter rather than the regular and horrendous bus journeys I've endured these last several months. Thanks again Brian - much appreciated. Paul |
