Default Amazon - Simon exhaust

I'm moving from UK and back to my native Denmark and in the process of clearing out my garage for various spare parts.

First up for sale are some silencers from my exhaust project.

I had the Simons system on my GT but suffered from the mysterious "Simon's whisle" which I thought was linked to the middle silencer. With no other cure appearant from the various discussion treads I went ahead and ordered a new one -only to discover it isn't even a silencer but a a resonator with nothing inside to cause a rattle or whisle.... To cut a long story short it appeared that the whisle was caused by the back pressure from an allegedly undersized rear silencer (although many others have the same setup without these issues).

Irrespectively, I subsequently went ahead and had a complete stainless steel system made up and am therefore selling the following parts (all Simons):

-1 x u225100r 2" Stainless Steel Maxi 51 silencer twin pipe - New price £86.67 + VAT (asking £60.-)

-2 x 2 " middle resonators (part no. 025-2) New price £37 + VAT. (asking £20 for the most used and £35 for the nearly new one).

-1 x 2" over the axle pipe (part no. 025-3) New price £17 + VAT. (asking £5.-)

-1 x 2" rear silencer (part no. 025-4) New price £94 + VAT. (asking £50.-)

(the complete Simons 2" system for the Amazon is £163 + VAT.)

All used but in good condition and for the twin pipe silencer and one of the resonators these have only been used for about 2'000 km.

What other Volvo items are you going to put up for sale before you leave?

I'll post shortly but think it's best/most logic to make seperate posts for the various items.
