This engine is a citreon/peugeot 1.6 hdi & I have worked as a technician for citroen so have seen this problem a good few times.
As far as I am aware most 1.6d engines in this joint venture are built in Dagenham.

Though apparently Ford are about to shift production elsewhere.

Don't know where the 1.4d and 2.0d are built though.

When turbo it's knackered it's normal to find oil even into the air filter. I have seen that more than once.

Hi,

Is it easy to drop the sump? (1.6d v50)

It does not look like it is obstructed by anything, but would rather find out before I start.

Does anyone know what torque to do the sump bolts back up to?

Any other o-rings etc. to replace other than the actual pickup?

Thx
Russell
