Hi All,
The old girl doesnt want to start! Cranks over and starts, a bit reluctantly, and runs at about 3000rpm for about 3 seconds and then cuts out. Any ideas would be much appreciated as I'm lost without her. Thanks, Paul paul.mison@gmail.com 07711 686 109 240 GLT, 2.3 manual, 1989. |

Use the dianostic connector on the N/S wing and read the error codes for both ECU's is they are 1-1-1 then no error as such so time to check fuel supply and pump operation. Link fuses 4 and 6 with a peice of wire and listen in the fuel filler hole and under the N/s of car in fron of rear wheel to ensure both pumps are running. Regards Peter

Hi Peter, thank you for the reply.
I must admit to being a bit of a plonker here. After spending time going through all the obvious things I saw that a pipe had come away at the rear of the manifold - a vacuum feed pipe (although I'm yet to discover where it goes to?!). I pushed it back on and she fired up immmediately. Thanks for you help anyway - very much appreciated. Best regards, Paul |
