N.Ireland Meet

Hi Folks, Just wondering if there is ever a meet in Northern Ireland. I know there would not be a big membership from here and would love to go to a meet. However, I assume the nearest to me would be in Scotland.

Sorry if this issue has been raised before.

Thanks Gary, The only reason I posted was that I had not seen any posts about meets over here. I will look into the Scottish ones as I really would like to meet other Volvo people due to me being the only Volvo owner amongst my friends!

there are a few VOC members here in the South and we are hoping to have a meeting in late January . Are there many VOC members that you know about in Northern Ireland that would be interested in getting together ?.

If interested I'll keep you posted as to dates/times .

I'm planning another VOC meet, round about February/March time. I'll be confirming a venue and date soon, and your more than welcome to attend.

We had our first one, at the end of November, at Strathclyde Country Park, Hamilton, but my plan is to have 3 locations used in rotation- Central, Northern and one down near the Borders.

This is due to the way members are spread out in Scotland, and hopefully that would make traveling distance fair for everyone.

The one I'm planning at the moment, will be the Northern Meet, up by Loch Lomond direction, just finalizing a venue then the dates will be posted up, well in advance.

Hi, Sounds good as my brother lives in Edinburgh so I could travel across and kill two birds with one stone! And leave the women to go to Ikea or something!
