Hi Guys,
I too would be interested in a N.I. meet. I live in Bangor but work and family muck up a lot of my time.
So if you do manage to sort something I will try and attend.
cheers.
Joe.

Lushman where abouts are you in N.Ireland?

I live in Derry and am looking for a good garage for my 850 which has decided to stop working. There doesn't seem to be too many Volvos here.

Do you know of any good garages?

Hi jhon, I am down in Belfast. I use an ex Volvo mechanic in a place called Carrowdore outside Millisle. Its a pain to get to and I always have to have someone follow me to bring me home. There is also one here in Belfast, however I have yet to use him. I will pm you with both contact numbers for them.

Paul

Hi Guys,

There is a Volvo specialist in Belfast called

SIMON CHAMBERS

He works from BEECHILL GARAGE. address is

34A Beechill Park Avenue,
BT5 7PR
Tel 02890 704040

That is just before Purdisburn hospital on the right hand side as you go under the footbridge on the Belfast to Downpatrick road.
He is very easy to talk to and has all the gear. He also works on Ferraries ect.
In the yellow pages under garages if I remember correctly.
Joe.

Hi Marty, From Brendan's other post re next meeting:

"It's been decided that the next Volvo Ireland Meet will be held on the 29-April-2007 and the location will be Belfast. The exact location within Belfast has yet to be confirmed "

Some people may head up to the Causeway coast on Saturday, stay over night in Belfast of Saturday and join the Meeting on Sunday morning ( possibly) in the Transport Museum, which opens at 1100. Other people may go directly to the meeting on the Sunday morning. The Museum opens till 1800. Will post any other info as it becomes available. Please post any ideas as well.
