Firstly, hope you dont mind me becoming a member to try selling this S40! Although to be honest, after owning this for a short period I may well consider a volvo next!

Bought this as a stop gap while I fixed my other car, and to be honet almost kept it!
Very comfy and quiet, and was a plesure on a long trip between Bedford and Bournemouth. And considering the millage it's in bloody good condition!

Obviously there's a few bad bits, there's bits of rust here and there and usual scuffs and carpark dents but nothing too bad at all really.
And the airbag light has recently come on, probably a loose connection, but the warning light needs reseting too.
And there's no stereo...but I find humming to myself quite soothing.
Oh and it's lost a wheel trim.

And you even get a half tank of petrol in the sale!

Nice looking car, the price is very fair, any history?
Do you know if the timing belt has been done, should have been done around 160-180k.

Might be worth listing any history you might have to help boost the sale.

I'm afraid all i have is the MOT and V5.

there's 2 previous owners before me, and the one before me owned it since 2002 so I'd imagine they'd have got the cam belt done but no guarantee obviously. And i've only had it for about a month myself, all i've done in that time is change the front tyres as they were low on tread and given it a ruddy good clean!
