I had problems with BP fuel in my TVR Chimaera.
Miss-fires and general bad running

Bought from Burpham, Guildford.

I now just avoid BP.

Shell, Esso, Supermarket fuel is fine.

My current car likes normal unleaded from Gulf ... which was a surprise, I now use Gulf and a few Shell V-power.

I only use she'll v power max on my t4.

Didn't realise it had to run on 98+ RON when I got it so I ran on Tesco and it was rather sluggish and power delivery felt a bit unnatural.

After reading and reading I saw that Tesco momentum and shell flower were the only 2 99 RON in the UK - but let's be fair who trusts Tesco fuel over an actual fuel company.

My view is simple. Uk law requires 97 RON minimum for super unleaded right? So BP are only doing the bare minimum as are other fuel companies - At least shell have set out to create a better fuel...

...and by God does my car fly on the stuff!!!

Shell VPower Nitro Plus Super Unleaded gets my vote.

With fuel getting cheaper and cheaper too it's worth a try right??

Regards

James
