Default Replace Sat Nav

Hi,
I have a 2014 S60 R Design 1560 Diesel that does not have an integrated satnav. I have checked with Volvo dealers with a view to retro fitting an integrated satnav to my car and have got a sharp intake of breath and a shake of the head. My view is they are not interested, rather than it not being possible but I may be wrong. Seeing as the 2013 model did have the option to have the satnav I wonder if anybody out there can confirm if a satnav unit can be swapped over into mine. Currently I have a Garmin stuck to the windscreen which is ok I guess but not my first choice. They have what look to be suitable units for sale on ebay,
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-S60...IAAOSwK6RZFgi4.
for example.
Any advise out there?
Regards

Have a look here, it was available but don’t know if it still is. Won’t be cheap though.

Hi,
It's always possible if funds allow but I'd imagine most dealers will shy away from this work as it's an unknown until they start pulling apart your car to actually know what needs to be added.
There are owners who take these upgrades on as projects/challenges.
However, I'm aware of an ICE specialist who could do such installations using Volvo parts & software.

I contacted them a while ago when I enquired of the cost of retrofitting factory DAB to an XC70 that was for sale. Sadly, it was prohibitive cost wise for me and carried on with my search but the guys there seemed pretty knowledgeable.

Thanks for the replies.
Seems it will be a costly job so will probably wait until I upgrade the car and then get one with a built in Sat Nav.

Cheers

I'm sure there is a thread on here about a kit to retrofit a standalone sat nav (garmin/tomtom) into the dashboard of a xc60 so there may be one for a s60, think the kit was on ebay.
