Custom Exhaust for C30 T5

Hi,

Does anyone have any thoughts on getting a custom exhaust made for the C30? I am looking to get something a bit (but not too much) louder than the stock exhaust. A few people have suggested that custom is the way to go. Does anyone have any experience with this, or know any places in and around the Leeds/Bradford area?

Thanks for the link. How loud are these exhausts by the way? Also do you have any idea how much fitting might cost?

Ferrita exhausts do change the sound both inside and outside the vehicle but they are certainly not noisy. They are also very effective in getting the gasses and heat away so always contribute to higher outputs when aftermarket software is also installed.

In Sweden, as in other Nordic countries, there are some tough 'on the spot' fines handed out for noisy exhausts.... and lack of a cat, so no manufacturers in the area make noisy exhaust systems.

If you want something not noisy, go for Ferrita.

I took a while to choose, and nearly bought the same. But I ended up going for a Milltek and very glad I did.
On idle, cruising along at a reasonable pace, and even on dual carriageways or motorways its quiet. When you decide to be a bit more spirited it opens up though.

Thoroughly recommend Tony Banks on Tong Road in Leeds. Just off the ring road.

I had a cat-back done in 2014 on my old V70 T5 and then went back for the down-pipe and sports cat.

It's set so you can't really hear anything different most of the time, apart from when you give it some beans. Then it makes a lovely sound, but still note too noisy. And it is more responsive.
He can make them noisier or quieter, just tell him what you want.
