Default 92 240 Torslanda Wagon

For sale on Retro Rides.
CAR IS LOCATED IN CREWE.
Not mine, but I did come across it and thought it looks very lovely and there may be more interest here?
Sorry if this is a breach of protocal.

Advert begins:

Yo, here is another victim of my fleet clearout, this has gotta go as I want to get a Subaru Outback!

Year: 1992
Mileage: 220k (just run in!)
MOT: Loads, about 8 months I think
tax: 2 months
Location: Peterborough

This is my daily driver and is a cracking machine, I did 1400 miles in 7 days only a fortnight ago and it never missed a beat. In my ownership I have serviced it, new clutch, new alternator, tyres, back box and cambelt (at 202k). It drives perfectly and you can get 33 mpg out of it on a steady run, I get 29/30 round the doors. Its got a towbar on it, I have used it for towing old cars around and it is great for that. Its in daily use right now!

This Photo is a year old, but it looks pretty much identical now. I will get some new snaps sorted for anyone who's keen of course.

Mr Bol put the car up on ebay and I have bought it.

just what I am looking fo for a daily driver.

I'm clocking up around 1300 miles a week at the moment and doing most of it in a Daimler XJ40 which will need to come off the road in a month to have the suspension bushes replaced and inlet manifold. Also XJ40's do not like the winter especially the scottish one - the Torslanda will be superb and will have the reliability I need.

Fleet is looking interesting now:

1988 Daimler 3.6 XJ40
1979 Daimler 4.2 Sov
1955 Split Screen Morris Minor
1996 Volvo 850 AWD Estate

and now

1993 volvo 240 torslanda

the XJ40 is MOT'd till November I may well run her into the ground.

Well bought Scooters.
What happened to the Marathon?
You dont list it in the current fleet.
