Just Acquired a mint C70 'vert

Good news! A chance conversation with a chap while dropping the granddaughter off at pre-school has led to the discovery that the manager of the independent garage in the next village is an ex Volvo master tech of 2 decades experience. We had a good chat and he definitely knows his onions, so by a happy accident I have discovered somewhere to work on the C70 for me. They have a reasonable rep anyway, but to have someone in charge with Volvo experience from the era of my car is very reassuring.

I don't mind paying the dealer - Bells have been very good over the years - but if I can get it done by an outfit that has the necessary expertise, is closer to home and less expensive then so much the better.

That spare has never been used - the date code on the tyre is 0519, so has been replaced more recently - and I can feel pretty safe in saying this one has never been used for a tip run.

Having one of these as a weekly run around I can safely say they never get used for a tip run, its hard enough getting a wastepaper bins worth of rubbish in that boot never mind an old matress or dining set
