Electrics: 70: - C70 Volvo Alarm

Just wondering, My 2000 C70 alarm system is the standard factory fitted Alarm & immobiliser and wondered if anyone knows if Volvo do add on's i.e. Talking Modules or The Microwave sensor which bleep when somebody approaches the car.
If not will any other alarm make add on's be compatible to the volvo?

I will start by saying that I don't know but it is unlikely. However, a non-Volvo add-on could be wired to, say, activate the door open switch (ie light switch) which should trigger the Volvo alarm. Not elegant but should work.
