Default Rear Squeak - Help

Looking for some help as me or my mechanic can not find the answer.

When the car is parked. if you push up and down at the rear there is a squeak. Any ideas or what could be the cause?

Also passed the MOT again with advisory to the front drop links.

Thanks
Andy

If the car is an 850 or p1 S/V/C70 my guess would be it's the springs in the rear brake drums squeaking. At least, that's the conclusion I've come to with exactly that same noise on our S70!

Just an update, after a long time.

I am now looking at Rear brake shoes. As when you rock the car while parked, it goes squeak.

Looks like a rebuild this weekend.

Plus one for this. The retainer springs become rusty and weak over time so the squeak you're hearing is probably loose handbrake shoes and springs travelling against the backing plate so see if you can obtain a new fitting kit in time for the new shoes.
