OK, I had a bit of spare time so I went looking myself. Found the turbobricks thread about it:

American Racing Torq Thrust type 2s.
Like on my ex estate too... Pretty hard to get in the UK, and I'm guessing in the rest of Europe too. |

Ty for the quik reply, as i'm a car mechanic in the volvo, i have alot of wheels and tyre shop friends and clients, so it will not be that difficult i thinks.
Is there any possiblity to get the inches of the rims and what tyre spec you are running unther that, because im going to install air ride unther the amazon. so ill have to measure everyting to fit perfectly. Sorry for my bad englisch Last edited by McRazer; Oct 18th, 2008 at 21:29. |

I don't like the headlamp rims in the first picture - makes it look like a Trabant!
I love your ex estate's stance, Stumph - very cool. |

Folks, the chopped estate in this thread is located here in Southern California, owned by a local bodyman named Kevin. We actually got to see the car this past Saturday at one of our Volvo Sports America gatherings in Burbank, California (Jay Leno also made an appearance!). It is obviously still a work in progress. Here's a photo taken at the event:
Also, the wheels and tires on that car, although they are styled after the famous Torq Thrust II's (like you'll see in my sig), are in his case taken directly from a current Mustang GT. No spacers or anything were needed--it is a direct bolt-on even using the OE Mustang tires!
