Do you have to book with Hatton, the C&C section or just turn up? I know you have to pre book for the meal on Sat night.

I presume the c&c section would like an idea of numbers but as yet no response from the rally secretary . As far as Hatton were concerned just turn up , which is what we will be doing . Does anybody know if anyone from the c&c committee uses this forum ?

Still no luck with getting a responce from anyone, apparently the C&C section has nothing to do with the BKV it's down to the main club. Think I may end up booking somewhere else .......

I rang Roy Haworth to see if I needed to book and was told C&C wasn't really involved so rang Dave Ovenden as I wanted to book tickets for the meal Sat night.

Maybe give Dave a ring or just turn up it's what I did at York in 2007.

Think I may do that ... no organizers seem to be monitoring the forums and I've had no responce from emails... It's fend for yourself at these events !

Well I have been following various threads to do with the BKV and I am horrified to find no support from The folks on here and the caravan club seem to be totally seperate to everyone else.Now I could be wrong but I thought the aim of this forum and the volvo owners club including the caravan club was to allow volvo enthusiasts to meet up and enjoy there common interest.

I started a post in the events section as the only other post was for the 2009 BKV,I tried to let folks know about the southern BKV by posting in various sections just to remind people it was on!

Me and the wife were thinking of taking the caravan to this BKV just to give it an airing(We don't live far way)but I'm not sure anyone would have talked to us as I'm mostly a forum user.

I think we need someone to knit us all together or at least take control of the main events and post the odd thread in the different sections as a reminder.

Brian, I'm only to keen on supporting the Volvo events and have tried hard in the past to gather interest on the Swedish day (without much success!) but on this one I'm finding it hard to get any clear answers on camping over at this event. The C&C section do not seem to be online and have said it's the main club that's organising it, but they have said it's the C&C section ????? Hatton said I have to book with the VOC so going round in circles.

I will be camping but still unsure where as there's limited facilities at Hatton ...

It's lack of information that's the problem here ...

Well at least there will be three of us camping (gillberry) so will have to
meet up for a drink ... !

Just got back from a few days away with the caravan and looking forward to meeting you all next weekend . We will be going up next friday and leaving late sunday staying at hatton with the c&c section .

Hi all I have been trying to push this BKV and I am posting all over the shop.I would have liked to give people info on the caravan site and the oppertunity to stay over if travelling any real distance.Sadly The two don't seem to be connected by much.

I will continue to post and bump wherever I can.
Look forward to seeing you all next weekend.You wont know me though but I will be driving a volvo so thats easy then?
