  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Upgrading Turbo

As above, anyone any experience of dealing with the lot in the link below? I've tried asking questions as to whether it is a direct fit for existing 14t on the T4, but not a lot of sense out of them... It would fit in nicely with the other plans that are just starting.....

.......Grant, be careful look here and the first Volvo S40 you come to on the list says that the number on ebay`s turbo is from a USA T2/T3 ....the 19T is engine type N1P19HT whether it means 19t is the size of the turbo ?..who know`s???????.......also who would fit a 19T to a USA lower spec engine as a direct upgrade?.........hope this helps you....Keith

That's where I was coming from - a straight fit 19T???!!! I'm looking at all possibilities at the moment, but best option still seems to be the hybrid that I considered a while back, built into a 14T housing. That also means no hassles with oil pipes etc. Car is booked in for exhaust in a month, and I've sourced brand new injectors for £120, so the project is on....!

......as you know they don`t straight fit with the standard manifold......you need four fifth`s of the S60 exhaust manifold!!!!....

Yep, same as what was for sale not so long ago...... My timing is impeccable, as ever. I had a T5 then!!! Sounds bizarre - a 5 cylinder manifold with one intake removed...

The cartridge fits into the 14t housing as ive also looked into this.The compressor side of things is different but it will fit with some changes
