Default S60r clutch pedal on the floor

I just got in my 2004 S60r which has been stood for a few weeks and the clutch pedal is on the floor!! The fluid level looks a bit on the low side but there is no visible sign of any leaks either under the car or at the clutch pedal. Is this most likely to be the master cylinder? Is it a big job to replace?
I have to say I've had this car for getting on for 10 years and had no real problems in that time.

Hi, a few years ago the clutch on my S60R went to the floor preceded by a high pitch sound only a few hours beforehand. The only symptom was a single case of low fluid a year before which I wasn't overly concerned with! In my case the slave had failed taking the clutch with it.
In my previous cars the slave was separate!

Because the cars are AWD the job of replacing the slave is more complex than a fwd car! I hope that it is not the slave that has failed on your R!
