Default SE spec ?

I went to see the guy selling the v70 today, and i've come away a little confused. Originally he told me it was a V70 D5 SE but when i went to look at it today he said it hasn't got satnav, powered tail gate and he doesn't think it's got bluetooth, so i said well in that case it's surely an ES, but he said the paper work says SE.
Can someone tell me what it should have over and above the ES spec to be a SE ?

ES spec was only introduced recently - not sure on the exact date though. Before that SE was the base Spec with the other options being R-Design (basically SE with sports pack/styling) or SE Lux. I also believe there was business spec which was basically SE + Sat Nav.

As for road tax, Police models are taxed on the old engine size system and not emmisions. This means its cheaper for early D5's and T6's, but dearer for the latter D5's.

Just had a look and ES came in for MY11.

If it's an ex-police vehicle, it will most likely be base spec. They won't spend money on expensive options. So your looking at an ES which has been wrongly advertised as an SE.

I kind of suspected that, thanks for your quick reply.
