Default Torque settings for brake calipers 940

I have a 740 with upgraded single piston 940 11" brake/rotor set up. Would anyone know the torque settings for the 2 #10 allen key bolts and the 2 bolts that hold the pad assembly against the rotor. I like to know these settings because it takes the guess work out of doing these repairs. Every bolt on a vehicle must have a torque setting, right?

According to the haynes 1982/1991 Manual (No 1258) the torque wrench settings for the 740 are:

Front Caliper bracket Screws 100Nm 74 lbf ft
Rear Caliper Mounting Bolts or Bracket Bolts 58Nm 43lbf ft

Use NEW bolts every time.

Front bolts=1273210
Rear bolts=975249

Personally I have never had a problem re-using the original bolts.

By the latter, do you mean the guide pin bolts? These are approx 7mm dia with 12mm heads.

If so Haynes 940 manual says torque to 34Nm, but FAQ says 30Nm - take your pick!
