T8 VoC App
I've just managed to plug the car in for the first time since taking delivery... I was wondering if there is anything in the VoC app or somewhere that will tell me the car is charging / what the the progress is.
Short of staring out of the window and seeing the green light glow from the car, is there a remote way of knowing that all is good and when charging is complete so I can take the cable away? |

Mine is charging now.
I have just clicked on the app and selected "dashboard". This shows battery level as a bar chart (below the fuel level). This is higher than when I plugged in, so it must update whilst charging. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately the VOC is very limited. The only way you can tell your car is charging is to make a mental note of the battery charge level....or take a screen shot, and then come back to the app after a significant amount of time, say 30 mins.
If I was any good at computer software writing, I would design a proper app for Volvo free of charge. A simple improvement to the app would be a colour change in the charge status to indicate the battery is charging. |

Thanks both. As it stands right now I don't even see that battery charge level, only the Fuel level in the app.
I'll try an uninstall and re-install and see if that helps. That would probably suffice for now if I can get it to work but I think some form of notification would be good too. |

Not sure if this is something the dealer can help with or if it is an app related problem? |

Thanks for the screens.
I'm using iOS and the latest version of the VoC app (v3.6.1). I'll call a local dealer next week (unfortunately not where I bought the car from) and see if they can take a look |
