I asked, and the answer I got was to "read the advert as it tells you". Blatantly not ! I would steer clear, as it apears he can't be bothered.

If someone does find a copy of the latest file, I would be interested in buying too.

at time 2116, the seller updated his listing to show volvo v1. Clearly not the latest!

MaxiDiag® EU702 and have used it successfully on several makes of car to read and reset codes. Its cheap - comparatively - and does what it says. Its not for Volvo cars beyond 2008 according to the overview. I have only used it on 2003 + 2004 V70's. One last thing. If you read the latest instruction manual on the web it suggests there is a hardware self-test for the unit in section 3.9. Mine doesnt have this feature so make sure you obtain the latest unit.

Assuming you use the generic manufacture facility and have obeyed the rules

Reading Codes can be done with the key on engine off (KOEO) or with the key on engine running (KOER).

I don't know. Mine connects everytime but there must be OBD power avail. This is apparent as the display backlight illuminates. Have you tired it on another vehicle? May be the lead is u/s?

I need to get some codes cleared off my XC90, I can only seem to find these things for around the 150 quid mark.

With my TT I can just plug it into VAGCOM on the laptop and bob's your uncle. Is this Autel reader really my most economical option?????
