Saw one in the showroom today...don't know if I like it or not. Interesting they are calling it the "V40 Cross Country"...salesman said there are rumours of an AWD "V40XC" so Volvo wanted to make a distinction.

The V40 Cross Country in T5 form is AWD, although are you meaning Volvo may bring out a mini XC60 version and call it XC40?

Regards

Default Xc 40?

See the current review on Honest John's website!

The reviewer heavily hints that an XC 40 is on it's way. It would fill a hole as I would like a 1.6AWD "40" which isn't possible at the moment, even though I have the 2.4 in my V50 and rate it highly.

Patience is a virtue etc...........

A D3 XC40 AWD would be pretty much guaranteed to be my next motor. Theres plenty of sales opportunity as well - look at the juke.

Hi Phil,

Spoke to my mate at Volvo dealers this am, he was very cagey but said that there may be a nice surprise next year, when I am thinking of changing the 60.
