winter wheel sizes! - Page 3

Are these the wheels? as these have six spokes .

i've just put my 18" wheels on today and have got to say the ride is smoother and the steering is more responsive than with the 20" on. i've still got the crossclimates on at the moment but i might try the cooper discoverer winters on next. I might even just run the car all year with the 18s on because its changed the feel of the car. Im not expecting miricles with the michelins but i cant belive how bad the car was yesterday with the summers on in the light snow fall that we had yesterday. The next snow will help me decide if i keep the michelins or go for the winters.

Sorry but because I haven’t made 39 posts the system will nit allow me to reply to any private messages.
So here is my response -

Hi TeamG,
Yes I do still have the 4 wheels available but the tyres were not for sale.
Today I had the tyres removed and then installed on the wheels of our ‘20 XC60.
It appears that although the tyres on the ‘17 & ‘20 XC60’s are exactly the same size there is a small difference in the wheel thickness which stops the wheel from our ‘17 XC60 fitting onto our ‘20 car.

This is what I said in my original offer -

I have a set of XC60 wheels which I used on my 2017 D4 XC60 in ‘18 & ‘19.
Today I thought I’d fit them to our new ‘20model XC60 but sadly the calliper catches so I can’t use them.
The wheels are 18” 5spoke, easy to clean, and they’re in excellent condition.
£300 for all 4 without tyres.
Let me know if they’re of interest to you and I’ll send you some pics.

If you are still interested in the wheels only, please let me know.
They are like new and without any marks.
some pictures of the wheels, now without the tyres fitted.

Thanks Ian, I just spotted this. I’ve just been in contact with another forum member who has wheels and tyres available quite near my house. If that doesn’t come to anything, I’d still be interested.
