Default XC60 - Sensus volume

Have searched through all of the settings but cannot find how to reduce the radio/music volume when satnav is giving directions. The satnav just talks over the audio so neither can be heard clearly.

There is a setting in my car and you can also turn the volume down when he/she is speaking.

On my older gen model you simply adjust the volume level during the sat nav announcement to the level required. It then remembers this setting.

I can adjust the volume manually, both satnav and the audio, it’s just that when the satnav is giving instructions the audio volume stays high. On previous cars I’ve owned, the audio volume reduces when the satnav is giving instructions.

Albert.
Could you please give us a "clue" as to what model/age/etc of Volvo you are asking about in case you are in the wrong forum sub-section.

Hi Albert, from what I have found, albeit there are many settings that I have not yet used, the volume on the satnav can be adjusted whilst it is giving instructions - so you would simply turn the volume dial below the screen to make it louder. It will suppress the audio volume but you may need to turn it up higher.
