Injection 144s are as rare as hens teeth in the UK, I've only seen 3 these last few years. My last (a big-bumper one) went for spares to a guy who was restoring one.
I have a big bumper 145 estate for resto and a small-bumper 145 similar: neither injection. My auto 144 was a show-winner but now needs re-commissioning as its been garage-stored since before the Virus struck: again small-bumpers.
And of course I'm nowhere near Leeds! Still interested?

Hi, just reading through your email.. I see you're not far from me in Redhill, do you have any interior parts i.e. seats in tan?

London is a very big place - would hate to have to drive through it to get to the northern extremities! I'm outside the M25.
Hope to be getting dark brown seats from an estate very soon, but haven't got tan. Have seen tan seats from a 164 in a 144 but the stitching pattern is different - not that I have any of those either! More comfortable than early 144 seats, but not the strongest leather if not given hide feed regularly.
I have other s/h parts though, but most at my store some 50 miles away.

Hi, Im based in Crystal Palace SE26 so not a million miles from you. My seats have the 12 centre strips going horizontally, basically drivers seat is worn, been on lots of different sites but can only find kits for the earlier amazon seats or later 164's.
I would be interested in any interesting spares you may have, the car is in quiet good condition and has benefitted from an engine rebuilt (unleaded head) electronic ignition etc, I bought it from Nigel Case from the Classic Car Company, one owner before him in Norfolk I believe ...I'll post some pics when i can work out how to re-size them etc.
regards

A guy I know who had a 164 had his car re-upholstered by a firm near Worthing (I spend lots of time there) and was thinking of getting a quote for mine.....but haven't yet. Can't remember their name now! Maybe there's similar near you?
From memory I think the 164TE cars had tan seats, but not very common now.

Default 144, GL injection saloon.

I have one, 1973, very solid car with tired paint, only found one little welded patch and one blob of filler, so far, should have it running in a day or two, needs a fuel pump and some new hose.

Manual overdrive, white/cream, black leather, It needs a windscreen, but no bad thing as the paint is flaky below it.
Had expensive sunroof cables done quite recently.

Very rare old car lol, the thread gave it away, no idea of value, nothing to compare it with and not far away, J30 of M25.

It was the one sold by KGF classics in 2016, detailed within an inch of life and photoshopped too, I reckon, not done 500 miles since.
