Thanks Kev

I must admit to feeling pretty chuffed for the last couple of days

I've had her exactly one year tomorrow and have enjoyed every minute ( not sure my bank account feels the same ) of owning and maintaining her.

I was thinking of listing everything that I've done in the last year since I was very kindly given the car for free but I fear there's not enough space on the forum

Keeps me out of mischief I spose

Yippee! A clean sheet for me today as well. No advisories either and the emissions were hardly registering.

22 years, 127k and still very clean underneath.

Here's to another year of Volvo motoring.

Cheers,
LeeP

Thanks Dave and Mark.

I must sort my signature (thought I had). It is a Dec '97, 945 SE LPT manual which started life in Germany. Still amazes me that every single accessory still works. Well done Mr Volvo.

My 940 (new to me) has also just passed her MOT today! Found last week the area under the battery tray was rot so that was welded and she sailed through with just a bulb failure. Of greatest amusement after all my blocked breather problems and smoking was that the emissions figures were remarked on as lower that even a nearly new car!! CO 0.03%, HC 14ppm and lambda 1.017. I credit this to the new hoses and a tank of V-Power! Perhaps the DVLA would like to give me a reduction in road tax

Congrats on the pass Vicky!

It's surprising how much difference some timely TLC can make

Congratulations Vicky and well done. Got there eventually.
What if DVLA charged road tax based on the emissions as measured at the last MOT. Not there’s a thought.

We wish Ian! I'd be paying virtually nothing, nor would Vicky and if memory serves neither would you. Probably be too difficult to enforce though.
