Default Fusion Red - can I live with it?

I have just ordered an XC60 in Fusion Red with blond interior. I must admit that the paint sample does look a bit bright. Does anyone have this colour already and still like it?

I was sorely tempted with the red but didn't think it was quite bright enough coming off a Firenze red Evoque. Ended with blonde and white. Don't see many fusion reds about. It's one thing volvo need to work on - their colour chart - it's dull.

When I first placed my order in March’18 for an XC60 I ordered it in Fusion Red with Blond interior and then I changed my mind and changed it to Denim Blue just before the lockdown date but sticking to blond interior. I have seen an XC60 in Fusion Red in flesh before I placed the order but when I saw one in Denim Blue I instantly loved it over Fusion Red and hence prompted to change my mind. I am glad that I changed the colour to Denim Blue but that is me; colour is a very subjective matter.

Follow the link below and have a look at picutes of XC60 in Fusion Red in post #15 on page 2.

Also a youtube link, which is an XC60 in Fusion Red review video. I found this video useful in that you can view the car in different light conditions, which you might find useful.

Someone living round the corner from me has an XC60 T5 in fusion red. I have to slow down every time I go past so I can get a better look at it. It really stands out and looks great!

The same can be said for pretty much all of the big German companies too...

If I had ordered XC60 it would have been Fusion Red. Instead I ordered an Audi in their equivalent.. too many grey, black, white and silver cars around!
