Most of the R dynamic advantages are due to the stiffer suspension and lower profile tyres - Kalmar Union or TME can help with the suspension mods and wheel/tyre combinations, but at a price.

You can also upgrade the inlet and exhaust for reasonable sums; after that you're into chip upgrades and chasing smaller and smaller increments of power with more and more money.

If it was my car I'd fit a front strut brace - cheap and excellent - polyurethane bushes and engine mounts and a set of 17" alloys with good low-pro tyres.

The brace and bushes will tighten up the handling and response, while the wheels and tyres will improve the grip, though probably hardening up the ride.

Don't skimp on the alloys though, cheap ones will bend under the strain as other members have found out and make sure the studs are correctly torqued.

Assess this for a couple of months and decide whether you need to do much more.

You may want to have a look on my website www.Kalmar-Union.com

I stock a good selection of kit in Wembley for these cars and will allways try to give my best advice if you 'phone me.
