headlamp bulb upgrades
anybody tried some of these blue HID emulator bulbs, i tried some RING ice blue ones i bought from MOTORWORLD, put one in to compare. load of ##### my old bulb looked less yellow, showed the motorworld staff but they recon the look blue, well if they look blue im a chna man, they also said as i fitted one they couldnt take them back? well thats what they think they havent dealt with me before. anyway word of advice dont bother with ice blues or motorworld. anyway has anybody tried any other HID emus, if so would like to know which ones are the best looking e.g. blue light.

Yeah they do seem good, I've bought quite a few sets of various bulbs from them and they always arrive next day.
Go to www.volvotuning.com and you'll see how to get a 10% discount there too. Philips Bluevision are probably the 'bluest' not HID bulbs you can get, but Philips Visionplus are much brighter. |

Hi.
I am using Bosch Laser Blue bulbs. Excellent light intensity and very blue (from the car in fronts perspective) I have been reliably told. Also people do seem to get out of my way on the motorway for no apparent reason..... :-) Only problem, £20 each and my T4 takes 4 of them not including the fog lights!! They are available from Halfords. Cheers, Dan. |
