Buying an 850 T5
Hi everyone, after many years of hot hatches etc I`m toying with the idea of buying an 850 T5 about a `95 vintage. I like the idea of it having 200bhp + but being very understated :7 so I`m looking for a little buying advice. I`d like one with leather, aircon, manual, cruise & a saloon. What should I look out for when buying & are the things I`ve mentioned standard on these cars or are they options?
Any tips and ideas greatfuly recieved :7 Lee |

RE: Buying an 850 T5
Thinks to watch out for:
Service history, make sure cam belt has been changed every 80,000 miles Oil leaks can be expensive, engine is normally leak free. Could be engine out job if it's rear main. Air con evaporator can quite often go faulty. If system drops in/out every few seconds could be more than a refill needed. Worth getting some sort of warranty. Hope this helps. Richard |
